Danos GIVES Grant Fair: Investing in Community, Inspiring Change

In January, Danos proudly hosted the Danos GIVES Grant Fair, an event dedicated to celebrating the incredible work of Terrebonne and Lafourche nonprofits and the impact of giving. This gathering was more than just a check presentation; it was an opportunity to connect, learn and reinforce our commitment to making a difference in the communities where we live and work.
At the event, Danos GIVES awarded a total of $181,600 in grants to nine local nonprofits who each play a vital role in serving our communities. The recipients present were:

Firm Foundation of Houma-$6,600
Hope Extreme-$10,000
Bags of Hope-$40,000
Bless Your Heart-$40,000
A Place of Restoration-$10,000
CASA of Terrebonne-$12,000
Second Harvest Food Bank-$25,000
By bringing together nonprofits and Danos employees, the Grant Fair fostered meaningful connections, allowing our team to engage with organizations firsthand. Employees had the chance to hear stories of impact, learn about volunteer opportunities and see the results of our collective generosity.
The event also encouraged collaboration among nonprofits, creating a space for networking and shared inspiration. Witnessing the dedication and passion of these organizations reaffirmed our belief that when we work together, we can drive real change.
The Danos Foundation is honored to support these and all of the nonprofits who are grant recipients this year. Our partnership with each reminds us what is possible when generosity and community come together, proving that giving isn’t just about writing a check; it’s about building a legacy of impact and partnership.
