On June 7, the Permian Basin Petroleum Association (PBPA) hosted its 2024 Sporting Clay Shoot & Oil Patch Pit King Challenge in Midland, Texas. Foundation Ambassadors Paul Quintero and James Collins took home second place at the challenge with their carne asada tacos! A combination of Paul’s secret marinade and James’s grill master skills helped secure the win. They garnished their tacos with sautéed jalapenos and onions. Delicious!
Their team received $300 in prize money, and the duo generously donated their prize money to the Danos Foundation! Not only did they donate their winnings back to the Foundation, but they were also able to log WORKS hours that will provide money back to the PBPA organization. The Danos team was accompanied by James’ son, CJ, who was able to see first-hand the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community. What a win for everyone involved!
